Kylie says "Were just friends"

A British tabloid has taken a pop at Kylie Minogue after the Australian singer was spotted in Chile with a married man.
Last weekend's Sunday Mirror reported that Minogue was met at Santiago airport by film director Alexander Dahm, who lives in Mexico with his heavily pregnant wife and young son.
Minogue and Dahm reportedly met in Mexico earlier this year during a film shoot while Kylie was modelling swimwear for fashion chain H&M.
Yesterday, the week-day version of the paper, the Daily Mirror, published a front-page photo of the pair dining at a restaurant with the headline: "The pop princess and the married man ... what ARE you playing at Kylie?"
Inside, it ran an double-page spread with more pictures of the duo on a boat, in a car and again at the restaurant under the headline: "Dahm it ... he's married!"
Minogue, who has been single since splitting from long-term boyfriend Olivier Martinez in February, told her official website she was in South America working on an idea for a musical film.
"It's very exciting for all of the team involved," she said.
"Just to whet your appetites as part of this new project I had the pleasure of learning to Tango from some of South America's best!"
The Daily Mail also covered the story but took a more sympathetic view with the headline: "Affair? No, it's all in the mind, says Kylie."
The Mail quoted an unnamed friend saying: "Initially Kylie was telling us that they were just friends. But her tune has changed. She has been saying he is the most amazing guy she has known since (former boyfriend) Michael Hutchence, which is a very big thing for her to say.
"When we asked if there was anything going on like an affair, she said 'Well, what do you mean by an affair?'
"Then she said something quite peculiar, she said 'sometimes you can have a mental affair'."
Dahm's wife, Laura, told the paper the pair were not having an affair.
"I feel for Kylie - it must be awful to be portrayed as the other woman. They are just friends," she was quoted as saying.
In its Femail magazine section, the paper ran another full-page story quoting anonymous friends who said Kylie was throwing herself into work to take her mind off men following her painful break-up with Martinez.
