Thank Heavens for the Divers!

Thank heavens their are divers in the Olympics, swimmers are covered up with their full body fast suits, mens volleyball uniforms are terrible. Diving fortunately gives us some great eye candy and allows great action packed images of what we want to see! Grace, Elegance Beauty and Strength!

Beijing scores 10 out 10!

Last Night my partner and I watched the Opening  Ceremony of the XXVIIII th Olympics, and what an amazing spectacle.  With the worlds eye's on China it was under enormous pressure to deliver, and deliver they did, arguably the greatest opening ceremony we have ever seen.

The scale of the opening production was off the scale, the color, the lighting and number of participants ensured China could never really fail.  It was a 10 out 10 Performance.

The thousand drummers performing prior to the count down!

The flame burns atop the cauldron !

Stephanie Rice and Eamon Sullivan win racy undies deal

Glamour Australian swimming couple Eamon Sullivan and Stephanie Rice have entered a joint six-figure advertising deal predicted to be the start of sponsorship millions.

Sullivan and Rice live on opposite sides of the country and rely on phone calls and text messages.

But they did have enough time to strip off together to become the new faces - and bodies - of Davenport.

Media buyer Harold Mitchell said that if Sullivan and Rice succeeded at the Games and their relationship continued "they'll make millions".

1 Year countdown begins in China

Tiananmen Square turned into a festival of jubilation Wednesday night as people from across China and from around the world gathered to celebrate the one-year countdown to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6 ... 1! As the countdown clock in front of the Chinese National Museum struck the exact moment of the one-year countdown, fireworks lit the sky. Scenes from the simultaneous celebrations citywide and in the Olympic co-host cities were broadcast on a large projection screen.
The Games will commence at 8pm on the 8th day of the 8th month of 2008. 8 of course is a lucky number in China.
