Washington DC Gay Pride

Last weekend GLBT Pride parades were held in Baltimore, Cleveland, Rhode Island, San Diego (United States),Dublin (Ireland), Edmonton (Alberta Canada) and Osio (Norway) to mention a few.

Boston Pride Parade

Last weekend Boston held it's annual Pride Parade, the warm weather brought out the largest crowd in years, and the 120 groups in the march kept the crowd cheering.



It was great to see the Fire Service entry again this year, having marched in the Sydney Mardi Gras with the Fire Service I know how much fun it is.

L.A. Gay Pride Parade

An estimated 175,000 people took to the streets of West Hollywood on Sunday for the city's annual pride parade, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

That number represents an increase of about 25,000 people from last year.

The event’s organizers estimate that up to 375,000 people were in attendance for the three-day celebration, which began Friday evening.

Tel Aviv Gay Pride


Thousands of Israelis and foreigners gather on the beach in Tel Aviv for this year's Gay Pride Parade. The parade, a celebration of sexual freedom and pride, has been an annual feature of the city's party calendar since 1998.

Long Beach Gay Pride Celebrates 25 years

Over the weekend the sun shinned on Long Beach for the 25th annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade.  The theme this year was "I am what I am".

2nd Pride Parade in Osaka



Over 1300 people participated in the 2nd annual Kansai Rainbow Parade in Osaka on Sunday.

Osaka mayor Junichi Seki declared Osaka the human rights capital of Japan in a speech read for him by transgender organising committee member Mie.

Organising committee member Asami Ota said onlookers were bemused by the spectacle of the parade going down Midosuji-dori to announcements of ‘we are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual, straight; we are ourselves.’

This was the first year an after party had been held, the party, at Explosion nightclub in Doyama, featured local and international DJs and drag queens from the parade.

Taipei hosts Asia’s largest Pride Parade

About 15,000 people turned up at the Taiwan Pride Parade 2007 held on Saturday, October 13, in Taipei, breaking its previous record of 10,000.


This year marks the fifth time a gay pride parade is held in Taiwan, and the event stood up to its promise to be the largest gay event of the year with a record number of participants.

The parade has grown in strength and size over the years, garnering an increasing number of supporters and participation from civil activism groups and individuals from outside the LGBT community.

Tokyo Pride Parade

Nearly 3,000 gay, bisexual and transgender participants and their supporters marched in the Pride Parade in Tokyo on Saturday.

This year marks the sixth anniversary of the parade, which is aimed at increasing the visibility of sexual minorities.

Hundreds of thousands watch Vancouver gay parade

Rainbows, water balloons and gay rights were front and centre Sunday at the 29th annual Vancouver Pride Parade as an estimated 385,000 people watched the spectacle dance down streets in the city's densely populated West End.

Spectators sat or stood row upon row along the sidewalk to glimpse such parade entries as Dykes on Bikes, with women in leather, tutus and bikini tops gunning their engines.

Amsterdam Gay Pride Draws Record Crowd

Gays and lesbians sailed through Amsterdam's historic canals as the city celebrated its annual Gay Pride festival.

The party drew an estimated 500,000 people and took place in the shadow of a spate of gay-bashing attacks this year which has surprised a city renowned for its tolerance.

DJs pumped music from ships packed with dancing partygoers, vying for the most outrageous theme. Well-muscled men wore leather, cowboy hats, disco glitter, and little else.

Crowds lined the canals to watch the boats pass, basking in the first warm weekend since summer started.

San Diego Pride

Another weekend passes and another Pride Parade, this time San Diego held theirs and as we love our boys in skimpy swimwear, I felt obliged to show you some of the highlights, so here is a sample of what we missed.

Frankfurt a couple of days ago celebrated it's pride with a colourful parade through the city, thousands of onlookers converged to enjoy the colour, atmosphere and undoubtedly the hot sexy men.

Huge crowd celebrated Euro Pride 2007

Last weekend many pride parades were held, but one of the largest was the Euro parade.

Thousands of gays, lesbians, and their supporters from across Europe packed into Madrid on Saturday and joined in a gay pride parade that saluted Spain's socialist government for introducing legislation that has turned this once deeply conservative nation into a bastion of gender equality.
