It's been almost a year since the 2006 Gay Games took place in the beautiful city of Chicago.
Terrific news was announced recently by the Chicago Games Inc. who sponsored the event, as they announced that the event was in fact a success.
History had shown that the three previous Gay Games had all finished in the red thus jeopardising the events future viability.
Although not technically a financial success, the organization did release details this week that the event had broke even, which was a huge improvement over previous competitions.
This news will hopefully help the 2010 event, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, to stay on the right track.
