Diamonds may be forever, but it turns out that a gay boy is actually a girl's best friend, according to a new book that is the first definitive guide to the "fag hag".
Now a new book chronicles the (mostly) ups and (occasional) downs of having a gay man as a girl's best friend. Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys -- true tales of love, lust and friendship between straight women and gay men was launched in New York last week with a rainbow of hysterical real life stories and a few predictably melodramatic tear-jerkers.
Robinovitz in her chapter Shop Girls, wrote that while her female friends are competitive when shopping and "secretly want your ass to look fat", her entourage of gay men makes her feel like "Marie Antoinette and her court" as they encourage her to buy extravagantly, telling her she looks divine, while "holding my handbags more gracefully than I do".
One of the book's editors, Melissa De La Cruz, said she sought to puncture the high-camp stereotype by telling how her gay male co-editor Tom Dolby was the rock-solid shoulder who was most there for her out of all her friends when she suffered a miscarriage and she and her husband were heartbroken. "He was a real man," she said.

The latest edition of Instinct Magazine features the georgeous 23 year old Jonathan Dayka, he is from San Luis Obispo which is half way between Los Angelies and San Francisco.

Calif. Gay Inmates Get Conjugal Visits
California is one of just six states that allow overnight family visits, which take place in trailers or other housing on prison grounds. But attorneys, gay rights advocates and corrections officials said they know of no other state that permits conjugal visits by same-sex partners.
Summer ... a distant memory
It's Officially Winter Down Under, as I drove to work this morning it was very dark, the clouds were black and threatening. I knew those days lying on the beach or by the pool admiring those sexy bodies, were officially over for another six months.
So the photo's above are for those like me, who wish it was summer everyday , but now know they first have to experience the wrath of winter.

GYM BOYS 2008 Calendar out now!
Every year we boys have a delema on our hands...which calendar to buy, do we want the ones with cute puppies or spectacular panoramic photo's by very talented photographers or one with hunky ripped musscled bodies?
If your not openly out to your parents and still living at home it is a sure sign that you are attracted to the same sex by hanging one like this on your wall.
It is just the first week in June and already a calendar is available for next year, I understand there is huge competition but come on I just bought this years three months ago.

Fab Magazine - Bring it on!
The latest edition of Fab Toronto's Gay Magazine gets the reader's ready for Pride.
If the above pictures form last year's parade are any indication of whats to come, I wouldn't miss it, surfice to say they wont need much motivation to to get the boys out.
No this is not an after party photo, it is in fact some of the talented work from Photographer Joe Oppedisano, which is featured in this issue and is worth a read.
"Gay fantasy” is what Joe Oppedisano calls his work. In the crowded field of male nude photography, Oppedisano’s shots stand out with their potent sexuality – an unapologetic ally- raw masculinity conveyed with rich colours and stark lighting. A fixture in European gay magazines, the New Yorker is finally becoming a name in North America.
The photographer gravitates towards “guys who are beefier and sexier” rather than the fashion world’s preference for “skinny and interesting” models. “I grew up playing football and baseball and running track,” he says.
“I was always into athletic guys.” In the first collection of his photos, the aptly-titled new book Testosterone, Oppedisano takes his massive models into a world that’s “dark and dank and a little spooky. You turn a corner and see this big tattooed man.
Is he going to fuck you or kick the shit out of you? There’s that question of should I go for it?”

Photographer Sando Bross
The latest edition of AX National, a Gay Australian free Monthly Magazine features the work of talented Photographer - Sando Bross.
Sandro Bross only started taking photos two years ago with, he says, "a cheap camera". But in that time, his work, characterised by stunning men and women, in simple, natural compositions, has taken a quantum leap, having appeared in several print and online magazines in Europe.
The images below are just some of the awesome images found at his website.
A professional hair stylist by day, Bross, 38, views American photographers Bruce Webber and Howard Roffman as his inspirations.
"Photography is a wonderful medium in connecting with people on a different levels," he tells AXN. "When people look at my images and are touched or show emotion for it, that's art."

DNA interview with BB Housemate - Nick
Nick being the latest evictee of Big Brother Australia, he was openly out from the minute he walked into the house, unlike Dave the farmer last year.
DNA sat down with "Nick", (oh what a great name) for a chat, below is some of the Q's and A's for a full read go to DNA website.
DNA: What’s it like being out of the big brother house? Nick: It’s a wild ride. I had my first night out in public last night. It’s definitely an experience not being able to just hang out with friends without people coming up to you wanting you to hang with their group. A lot more attention than I expected.
Is it a good attention?I’m loving it. I’m a bit of an attention seeker. It will be interesting to see how it goes in two weeks. I’ve only been hassled by one guy and that’s out of 200 people.
You mentioned that the thing you most missed while you were in the Big Brother house was reading the newspaper and sex. Have you now read a newspaper and had sex? I have read a newspaper…yes.
So you’re not going to answer the second part of the question? (laughs) I haven’t been doing too badly there. But then I only just got back to Geelong. I’ve been locked away in hotels for the past few days.
You’ve gained a bit of a reputation as being one of the most controversial and opinionated housemates certainly this season, we wanted to ask you your opinion on some hot topics. Gay marriage…I don’t see why there is any reason why gay people can’t get married. I don’t know why our government is so behind the times on that one. Everyone deserves a shot at happiness.
