When Rove asked the usual gay question, Chas seemed irked that no one ever followed through with a decent answer. Chas then gave Rove his answer – literally.

Watch the below video to see Rove cop one of the most biggest gay pashes we’ve seen on Australian TV in a while.

Rebecca Romijn Pregnancy Rumors On Ugly Betty Set 'Not True'

The creators of Ugly Betty have been stumped by a Hollywood rumour that their 'transsexual' character, played by Rebecca Romijn, is pregnant - for real.

The newlywed X-Men star insists the stories aren't true, but they still managed to create a panic on the set as writers tried to figure out how they could hide a baby bump, before they went on strike.

Romijn says, "I'm not pregnant but it's not out of the realm of possibility. We laugh about it with the writers of the show.

How would you figure that out? Alexis doesn't have a womb!"

Missy talks about Love

Missy Higgins has appeared on the front cover of an Australian lesbian magazine, telling readers that she is not straight and believes sexuality is a "fluid thing".

Cherrie magazine features Higgins under the headline, "Missy Higgins on life, music and not being straight".

Asked by Cherrie if she fitted the magazine's moniker of "not-so-straight girls", Higgins said: "Um, yeah, definitely."

"I think a lot of people fall under that broad umbrella term," Higgins added.

"I think sexuality is a fluid thing and it's becoming increasingly more acceptable to admit that you're that way."

Speculation over Higgins' sexuality emerged after the release of her 2004 chart-topping single, Scar, which is rumoured to have been about her bisexuality, although Higgins has never commented openly on the meaning of the song.

Higgins is believed to have bought a house at Bondi for her girlfriend.

"It's hard to learn to live with the fact that people want to talk about your personal life at all, and to get into sexuality and that kind of thing," she said."I'm not that comfortable with talking about anything about my personal life."

"Susan wants to be so politically correct and show how open-minded she is, that she puts her foot in her mouth instantly and it goes downhill from there. I'm basing it a little bit on my relationship with my neighbours."

Cherry would not reveal who would play the same-sex couple as they episodes are still being written and casting wont start for another few weeks.

Anthony Callea talks about his outing!

Anthony Callea appeared on the Australian morning show this morning he appeared fresh, vibrant and when asked about his outing over the radio airwaves earlier in the year responded only as a true professional would.

He discussed that during Australian idol his family and some friends knew of his sexuality. When asked by the morning show compare, if anyone had suggested to him "not to come out as it may impact on his fan base" he replied "no, quite the opposite, my manager told me that it would be a good idea when I was ready to go that next step, and hold no secrets".

Anthony was outed on the radio 4 months ago in dramatic circumstances as the radio personality did not realise it was not common knowledge.

Anthony said that if people did not accept his sexuality, it was their problem not his.

"Chuck and Larry" overtake "Potter" at box office

Adam Sandler's faux gay comedy "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" charmed $34.8 million from moviegoers its first weekend in theaters to nudge the latest "Harry Potter" film from the top of the box office, according to studio estimates on Sunday.

"Chuck and Larry," starring Sandler and Kevin James as heterosexual Brooklyn firefighters who pose as a gay couple to qualify for domestic-partner benefits, underscored Sandler's box-office clout, although it fell short of some of his past film openings.

Gay firefighters give thumbs-up to Chuck & Larry

The nation’s oldest advocacy group for LGBT firefighters has likened the upcoming film I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry to the real process of coming out to coworkers.

“The coming-out process in the movie mirrors what I, and many of my colleagues, have gone through on the job,” said Mike Vissichelli, president of Fire FLAG/EMS in a statement.

“Initially we may have dealt with disbelief, disdain, and even prejudice from our fellow firefighters. But significantly, as in our experiences, the film shows the process gay firefighters go through on the job as they move toward acceptance by their fellow firefighters.”

Vissichelli said that the Fire Department of New York’s efforts have improved to be more accommodating to its LGBT employees.
“While I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry is a broad comedy,” he said, “the reality is, there are gay firefighters in many departments across the country, including the FDNY.”

(The Advocate)

I will see the movie next week when in Sydney with my bf, I am really looking forward to it as I came out to some of my fellow fire fighters recently, and it is never easy at any work place but the fire service is probably one of the hardest.

Rupert Everett Needs A Boyfriend...pick me!

Prince Charming is looking for his own Prince Charming says the Daily Mirror.

His autobiographical tell-all Red Carpets And Other Banana Skins has just come out in paperback, hence the interview.

"I'd really like to be in a relationship ... I'm just not very good at relationships, but I'd like to be in one". said Rupert.

I met Rupert in March this year after the Sydney Mardi Gras, well it was on Sunday night at Inquisition a leather and denim party. He was just wearing jeans, and was on the prowl.

I said "hello" and told him I loved some of his movies, (I felt stupid after, but I later wondered what would be like to be his bf. Imagine telling your mum that you have met someone nice and his name was Rupert. Further more, imagine taking him to the family bbq get together.)

'Sex and the City' headed to movie theaters

The four women who spiced up Manhattan's singles scene for six years on the HBO television series "Sex and the City" appear headed for a big-screen reunion after all.

New Line Cinema, a corporate sibling of HBO under Time Warner Inc., is close to sealing a final deal to finance and distribute the long-stalled picture, a spokesman for the studio said on Thursday.

The project is set to begin shooting in the fall with all four stars of the HBO hit -- Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon -- on board to reprise their roles.

Longtime series executive producer Michael Patrick King will direct the film from his own script and serve as producer, along with Parker and series creator Darren Star.

While no release date has been set, the movie presumably would arrive in theaters sometime next year.

Plans for a movie were first revealed by HBO in early 2004, months before the show ended its six-season run.

Suit over Web use of gaydar

An international case on the ownership of the word gaydar is under way after two Web companies claim to have rights to use the term, originally coined to describe the ability to sense if another person is gay. Qsoft Consulting Limited, a 10-year-old British company, claims to own the name for its gay and lesbian dating site and digital radio service, reports the News Journal (Delaware).
In November 2006, a U.S. company, with operations in Princeton and San Francisco, started to use similar domain names for the same kind of service.

The suit was filed with the federal court in Delaware because Teddy Tong, the owner of TDTong Ltd., registered his domain names through a local company, and Qsoft claims that Tong violated spam laws by sending unsolicited messages to Qsoft's customers.

Beyonce accused of cloning Kylie

Beyonce's show-stopping metallic robot outfit and wild dance routine on US television this week certainly wasn't inspired by an extra-terrestrial encounter.

The R&B diva's performance bears a striking resemblance to a show put on by Kylie Minogue back in 2002.

During Kylie's "Come Into My World" Fever tour, she opened the concert encased in a robot costume, which was based on designs from the 1927 film Metropolis by famed Austrian director Fritz Lang.
Beyonce, like Kylie, emerged from the space-age suit and began to sing and dance after its metallic panels opened up electronically.

Continued

It is not the first time Beyonce has been accused of stealing, with one current lawsuit forcing her to suspend production of her latest album.

The 25-year-old is currently being sued by soul star Des'ree after she covered one of her songs and put it on her B'Day Deluxe album without copyright permission.
