The Australian stage musical adaptation of Priscilla: Queen Of The Desert may be heading to Broadway. Producers of the show, which has played to sell-out houses for almost a year in Sydney, have apparently laid the groundwork to franchise their production to New York and London.
A budget of around $15 million will be needed to launch the Broadway Priscilla as the upbeat extravaganza comes with a large cast, 23 tons of scenery (the show's main prop and special effect is a full size, moving bus) and an infinite amount of costumes, wigs and glitter.
